En Pali Aike han existido tres periodos de erupciones, el más antiguo ocurrió entre tres millones a un millón de años atrás; el segundo se desarrolló hace 170 000 años, cuando se formó el cráter de Pali Aike. El último, entre 16 000 a 10 000 años, que originó al cráter Morada del Diablo.

Visitar el Parque Nacional Pali Aike en Magallanes es sumergirse en un paisaje volcánico y desolado, con formaciones geológicas únicas, campos de lava y vastas estepas. El parque ofrece rutas de senderismo para explorar cráteres, túneles de lava y una rica avifauna. Ideal para los amantes de la naturaleza que buscan una experiencia remota y espectacular.
