Debe disponer de 04 horas : 01 hora de ida desde Punta Arenas a Fuerte Bulnes, 01 hora de regreso y 02 horas de recorrido de las antiguas edificaciones, senderos, miradores, museo, cafetería y tienda de souvenir.

Durante el recorrido también visitamos el Hito geográfico Mitad de Chile y desde el Museo tenemos una vista hacia Puerto de Hambre.
